Today we explore the Rottweil nature trail

Rottweil train station is just under a kilometre from Hotel Bären. The entrance to the nature trail is easy to find. Follow the station road east, through the roundabout and left under the tracks (towards Göllsdorf). The marked nature trail starts at the “Schwarzen Felsen Göllsdorf”.

Via Göllsdorf, follow the nature trail markings to the Dissenhorn and enjoy the magnificent view over Rottweil there. Continue to the Dissenhorn chapel. With a beautiful view of the Lemberg, you now descend into the Jungbrunnetal valley. From the Jungbrunnen valley road, you walk to the LInsenberghalde and from there to the LInsenbergweiher. The Fischerheim at the pond offers the opportunity for a nice stop.

For the way back, walk along the lake and turn right over the model airfield. Or you can walk back via Feckenhausen to the Hotel Bären Rottweil.

It is about 4 km from the Hotel Bären to the Linsenbergweiher. The whole hike across the Linsenbergweiher, on to Feckenhausen and back to Rottweil is approx. 12 km.
