Hiking in the nature reserve Neckarburg

The Neckarburg Castle lies at 550 metres above sea level and is probably the oldest medieval castle in the district of Rottweil. The castle ruins are picturesquely situated on a long Umlaufberg mountain in a Neckar loop in the middle of a nature reserve.

The Neckarburg (550 m) is an early medieval hilltop castle on an elongated Umlaufberg in a Neckar loop near Villingendorf in the urban area of Rottweil. A beautiful circular hiking trail runs here.
