Thyssen testing tower

TK Elevator Testturm in Rottweil is a magnet for visitors

The future is being built in Rottweil. The Thyssenkrupp testing tower has opened its (elevator) doors to private visitors since October 2017.

You can look forward to a gigantic view from a height of 232 meters, because the visitor platform is on this level. The elevator takes less than a minute to reach the viewing platform. Here you can enjoy a 360-degree view.

In this 246 meter high tower Thyssenkrupp will test the latest generation of high-speed elevators.

Construction began in January 2014 and testing began in December 2016. SWR radio did a report on it here.

For tower visitors we offer a weekend savings package.
