Hike to the Herzogenhorn and the Rothaus Brewery

A particularly attractive hike is the ascent of the Herzogenhorn (1,415 m) in every season. It takes a good hour by car from Rottweil to the start of the hike. The hike takes about 5 hours and is moderately difficult.

On the way back to Rottweil, a stop at the Rothaus Brewery in Rothaus 1, 79865 Grafenhausen-Rothaus is worthwhile. A visit to the brewery (with a guided tour of the brewery) and a stop at the brewery inn are fun and satisfy your hunger after the long hike.

Public tours for individual guests

Monday to Friday at 12:00 and 17:00
Saturday and Sunday at 12:00, 14:00 and at 16:00

Included services: Guided tour, 1 Rothaus Tannenzäpfle (0.33l) and 1 pretzel.
Participation fee: € 12,00
(for holders of the Hochschwarzwald Card: € 6,00).
Children from 7 years: € 9,00 (for holders of the Hochschwarzwald Card: € 6,00).

Groups of 15 or more

Daily from 10:00 a.m. by appointment.
Additionally in the languages: English, French and Spanish possible

Arrangement: Guided tour of the brewery followed by a meal at the brewery inn.
